In 1983, Arthur Hutchinson broke into the Laitner family home in Sheffield, England, after a wedding celebration and brutally murdered Basil and Avril Laitner, along with their son Richard. He then raped their 18-year-old daughter, Nicola, who survived the attack. Hutchinson was later convicted and sentenced to life in prison, becoming one of the UK’s most notorious killers....

Tyonne Jones, a 35-year-old wedding caterer, was fatally stabbed in August 2016 while working at a wedding in Virginia. The attack occurred after a dispute with park employee Kempton Bonds over folding chairs, leading to her tragic death.....

Ep 24 | Melissa Jubane

 
In September 2024, 32-year-old nurse Melissa Jubane was found dead in her Beaverton, Oregon, apartment, just weeks after her wedding. Her neighbor, 27-year-old Bryce Johnathan Schubert, was arrested and charged with her murder, kidnapping, and abuse of a corpse. Investigative documents remain sealed, and Schubert's trial is scheduled for Fall 2025....

Mary Gough was murdered in 2003 by her husband, Colin Whelan, just months after their wedding. Whelan strangled her at their home in the UK and attempted to stage her death as an accident before fleeing. He was later captured in Ireland, convicted of her murder, and sentenced to life in prison.

Bonus 5 | Lonely Hearts Killers

The Lonely Hearts Killer refers to Raymond Fernandez and Martha Beck, a murderous couple who lured victims through personal ads in the 1940s. Posing as lovers, they gained the trust of lonely women, then robbed and killed them, with Beck often displaying intense jealousy. They were arrested in 1949 and executed in the electric chair in 1951.

Rachel McLean, a 19-year-old university student in Nottingham, England, was murdered in 1991 by her ex-boyfriend, John Tanner. Tanner strangled her in her own home and later attempted to mislead the police by participating in media appeals for her return. His inconsistent statements led to his arrest and conviction, resulting in a life sentence.
